Trapp Family Lodge
Stowe, Vermont
Location is near the quaint town of Stowe VT (restaurants,
shopping.) The Main Lodge has 96 guestrooms with views of the Green Mountains,
and Sun Room, Family Room, Library and Living Rooms, some with fireplaces.
Room rates range from $198 to &750/night and include
indoor and outdoor pools (in season), cross-country ski passes, clay tennis
courts, afternoon tea and cookies, daily feature films, nightly musical
entertainment.
The Trapp Family Lodge is open year-round, and activities
include: cross-country skiing and hiking on 100km of trails, guided nature
walks, mountain biking, tennis, croquet, snowshoeing, sleighrides,
maple sugaring, music lessons, swimming, and more. The Trapp was the first
cross-country ski center in the US, started back in 1968.
Four clay tennis courts:
Are available to our guests.Charlie Yerrick, U.S.P.T.A. tennis
pro, has designed daily clinics Monday through Friday with weekly "round
robins" for tennis players to meet each other. Children's
clinics are available through the Mountain Kids Club.
