Tommy Robredo

Tommy Robredo, (born May 1, 1982 in Hostalric, Catalonia), is a professional tennis player from Spain.

Robredo began playing tennis regularly when he was five and his family moved to Otlo where his father became the director of the local tennis club. It was also his father who was his coach until 1996 when Robredo moved to the Centre d'Alt Rendiment Sant Cugat in Barcelona, a sports center for promising young talents. He turned professional in 1998 and is now coached by Mariano Monachesi.

Tommy Robredo is named after the rock opera by The Who because his parents liked it a lot.
