Scottsdale Athletic Club
Our fitness center features two levels of state-of-the-art
workout equipment, unlimited fitness classes, and a remarkable staff of personal
trainers and instructors. Experience our Yoga, Spinning or Pilates class,
or play tennis on one of our 11 championship tennis courts.
Voted one of the Top 50 Tennis Resorts by Tennis Magazine,
our Athletic Club boasts 11 championship tennis courts, two pools, multiple
levels of intimate workout studios and top of the line fitness equipment.
The Scottsdale Athletic Club also offers unlimited fitness classes with separate
Pilates and Spinning studios. The club features a library, childcare center,
and a full service spa featuring aromatherapy massages, European facials
and seaweed body wraps. The club also houses the Eurasia Bistro for casual
and fine dining, as well as banquet and meeting rooms for special events.
Members have the option of participating in both intra-club
and inter-club competition. We are famous for our "drop-in" tennis
which features readily available competition with no advance notice. We also
offer tennis socials every month.
The Scottsdale Athletic Club has the distinct honor of hosting
two special national tournaments each year: The Fiesta Bowl Senior Open Tennis
Tournament in December, and the USTA National Men's 35 Hardcourt Championships
in April.

TENNIS LESSONS
Tennis is a game of concentration, ability, and skill. Whether
you enjoy the sport for its physical benefits, or for the love of competition,
the Scottsdale Athletic Club has a program to suit your needs. Our members
enjoy one of the finest private tennis facilities in the Phoenix area. The
club features eleven hardcourts, including an exhibition court. Our facility
features the finest court lighting in the Southwest for night play.
Both men and women regularly participate in intra-club and
inter-league play. We hold monthly tennis social mixers, and round robins.
We offer weekly drop-in tennis for different levels of play. Drop-in clinics
are regularly offered which are geared to different levels of play in order
to enhance a player’s game.
For current events please check our Tennis Table, bulletin
board, or inquire at the Front Desk for information. Our Director of Tennis
is always available for information and advice, and will gladly find you
an appropriate match in singles or doubles.
After school programs for junior players offer classes to
children from age 4-16. A summer camp program for children is offered, where
tennis lessons are a favorite featured activity.
