Palm Springs and the Riviera Resort have been host to A-list celebrities
and dignitaries for many years and has been know as the world’s most
famous desert playground of the stars. The Riviera Resort’s reputation
as “Palm Springs' Largest and Most Famous Resort” is brought to
life in a new “Wall of Fame” featuring pictures of celebrity guests
over four decades, ranging from Elvis Presley and Sinatra to newcomers like
Destiny’s Child, who was first discovered while playing at our famous
pool.
Features include our 18-hole, lit putting course, nine
championship tennis courts (five lit courts for evening play), volleyball,
basketball, and a newly upgraded workout room. Together with the largest
pool that Palm Springs has to offer, the resort keeps fun times in the bag
for playa’s of all ages.

The Palm Springs Riviera Resort and Racquet Club features
nine tennis courts, including five that stay lit for night play. We are the
home site for the Billie Jean King World Team Tennis Finals, NTRP Western
Zonals, the Easter Bowl Supernational Junior Championships and five national
USA league championships. Whether you are planning a competitive championship
event or a simple low impact day of fun in the sun, our recreation department
is ready to assist you in organizing and monitoring daily events such as:
tennis, putting golf, basketball, volleyball or even a scavenger hunt. The
