Come to the Nike Adult Tennis Camps at Ferris State University
and just get better! With outstanding facilities, staff, and activities,
Ferris State is an ideal setting to work on your game. You will never pick
up a ball at Ferris adult camp! The schools top quality athletic complex
includes ten outdoor courts and six indoor courts (two clay) at the Ferris
Racquet and Fitness Club. A complete fitness center includes computerized
cardio and weight equipment, aerobics classes, tanning, and massage.
Adult campers will stay at the newly remodeled Holiday Inn
Hotel and Conference Center, complete with indoor pool, whirlpool spa, outdoor
patio, and golf course. The Resident fee includes two nights in a double
occupancy guest room (single rooms are an additional $92, if available).
You will enjoy meals served at the Holiday Inn Conference Center or at Bennigan's.
The Day fee includes the tennis clinic and lunch.
Directors and staff at Ferris State are committed to providing
a tennis curriculum that is enjoyable and effective. Co-director Tom Daglis
is the director of Ferris State Universitys USPTAs Professional
Tennis Management program- the nations first bachelors degree
program in tennis. Also leading the camp staff will be Ferris States
womens tennis coache, Dave Ramos. Directors and staff focus on personal
attention, working with campers on stroke analysis, stroke production, drill
progressions, match play strategy, and sport science.
