Nadia Petrova

Nadia Petrova (Russian: Nadézhda Petróva; born June 8, 1982, Moscow, Russia) is a professional tennis player from Russia. She turned professional in 1999, a year in which she entered the WTA top 100. She went on to enter the top 50 the next year and ended 2003 in the top 20.

On April 19, 2004 she was ranked no. 6 in the world.

Petrova finally won her first singles title in October 2005, and she has eleven doubles titles, including the WTA Tour Championships in 2004.
