Tennis Courts on SiteSeven, all-weather outdoor tennis courts
with two lit for night play; Tennis clinics, private lessons and special
tennis packages; Resident Peter Burwash International Tennis Pro.
Tennis players, meanwhile, can look forward to 7 courts (5
hard and 2 artificial grass), a fully stocked pro shop, player matching services,
and some sort of clinic or round robin on weekdays in season. Those round
robins often draw local residents.
Peter Burwash International pro Joachim Hohnstadt has taken
over as tennis director since my last visit. He'd been a teaching professional
there in the early 1990s, spending the intervening years in Europe and Asia,
before coming back to Little Dix in 2002.
