"Leach at the Beach" Tennis Camp -
Here's what the serious tennis player is looking for from
the #2 rated Racquet Club in the nation! Specially designed by Michael Leach,
Ponte Vedra's Director of Tennis and former ATP Tour player, this camp features
a comprehensive, fast-paced program consisting of 3-hours of Davis Cup style
drills each morning. The focus here is less on fundamentals and more on STRATEGY,
SHOT SELECTION and MOVEMENT. Expect to run, hit balls and be challenged!.
The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is the birthplace of tennis
in Northeast Florida. Cradled between green fairway and blue Atlantic, Ponte
Vedra's Racquet Club has evolved from a single clay court in the early 1930's,
to one of the top tennis centers in the nation today.
Generous plantings of ligustrum, impatiens and flowering
bouganvillia frame the 15 Har Tru courts to create an attractive, park-like

marking the twelfth consecutive year that Ponte Vedra has appeared on this
prestigious list.
Tennis magazine bases its selections on a set of stringent
criteria that include excellence in tennis instruction and programming, a
staff of service oriented personnel and a quality tennis facility.
The resort was also cited for providing the finest in lodging,
exceptional cuisine and a variety of recreational amenities, children's programs
and a discriminating clientele. The magazine recognized Ponte Vedra's rich
