Anabel Medina Garrigues

Anabel Medina Garrigues (born July 31, 1982, Valencia, Spain) is a Spanish female tennis player. She reached a career high WTA Tour ranking of 26 in September 2005, and has won 5 singles titles and 7 doubles titles.

Most recently she won the WTA tournament in Canberra, Australia, beating Yoon Jeong Cho in the final in January 2006. Her other singles titles came in Palermo in 2005, 2004 and 2001; and Strasbourg in 2005. She is currently the highest-ranked Spanish women's professional tennis player.

She lost in the first round of the 2006 Australian Open to Czech player Zuzana Ondraskova.
