The Hyatt Regency Dorado Beach & Country Club fronts
Puerto Rico's north shore, roughly 45 minutes west of San Juan. Originally,
there were two hotels, but the former Hyatt Cerromar has closed (except for
a timeshare adjunct called Hacienda del Mar), leaving the Dorado as the centerpiece
for all the surrounding facilities. It has five hard courts, two swimming
pools, 72 holes of Robert Trent Jones golf, hiking and jogging trails, and
numerous restaurants.
