The Fripp Island Resort Racquet Club
Centrally located on the island – and just a few steps
away from one of South Carolina's beautiful beaches – the Racquet Club
has eight Fast-Dry clay courts and two hard courts. Our staff invites you
to join a full schedule of seasonal activities, round-robin tournaments.
We have a wide range of instructional programs that include private and semi-private
lessons that provide you the opportunity to have plenty of fun and improve
your tennis game!
The Racquet Club staff invites you to join all the Racquet
Club fun during your stay. In addition to scheduled clinics, Racquet Club
staff offers private and semi-private lessons. Our instructional programs

Court Fees
Court Fees Single/Doubles (per hour) $20.00
Fripp Island Resort rental guests staying between Memorial
Day and Labor Day are entitled to one hour of free court time after 3 pm
per stay. For the rest of the year, resort guests may use their hour of court
time at any time during their stay.
Tennis Lodging Packages
Fripp Island Resort offers tennis/lodging packages from $62
per person per day. We also custom design group and team packages. Select

On-Island Packages
Our tennis packages provide excellent bargains for enthusiasts
who plan to make tennis a big part of their vacation fun.
Includes up to 6 hours of court time.
Includes up to 12 hours of court time.
*Package hours will be deducted in half-hour increments.
Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. Additional court usage
may be purchased at the standard rate.

2006 Tournaments
Each year, the Racquet Club hosts tournaments that offer
challenges and fun competition for players of every age and skill level.
Our 2006 schedule follows:
March 3-5 - Fripp Island Spring Clay Court Championships,
a sanctioned tournament for adults.
April 24-25 - Independent High Schools State Championships.
May 12-14- Fripp Island Club Championships
October 6-8 - Fripp Island Fall Clay Court Championships,
our sanctioned fall tournament for adult players.
Scheduled Events, Clinics, Mixers
From Memorial Day through Labor Day plus the Easter holiday,
the Racquet Club offers a full schedule of mixers, clinics and drills. Be
sure to check with the Pro Shop for special events, tournaments or exhibitions.
Ages are listed for Junior Tennis programs. Mixers or clinics are designed
for adults. One-hour clinics for juniors and adults are $17 per person. Combine
a Stroke of the Day and a Daily Drill for just $30. Future Stars is a 45-minute
juniors program for $12. The 30-minute Hot Shots lessons are $9 per child.

Social Activities
Pro Exhibition
This complementary event is presented every week at 5pm on
Mondays throughout the summer. Come cheer and meet our staff as they compete
in an exciting atmosphere. Drawings for prizes, discounted beverage prices,
and pro shop discounts are randomly made during their performance.
Meet - U - Mixer
Designed for both men and women, this round robin is for
all skill levels. Organized by our staff, this Mixer is an excellent way
to meet playing partners for the remainder of your stay.The Meet-U-Mixers
is held on Tuesdays from 5-6:30pm. $12 per person drinks are available.
Mixed-Up Doubles
Switch, mix, mingle and play with different partners. This
round robin is organized by our staff and designed for all levels of men
and women. Mixed-Up Doubles are held on Thursdays from 5-6:30pm, $12 per
person, drinks are available.
Round Up Doubles
Round Robin Doubles are held on Friday mornings from 9 -
11am and are organized and run by our club members. Just pay your share of
the court fees.
