The Evert Tennis Academy (ETA) is an innovative partnership
between the Evert family, the first family of tennis, and IMG, the worlds
largest and most prestigious sports marketing firm. IMG represents the top
players worldwide, including Venus and Serena Williams, Andre Agassi, Jennifer
Capriati, Tommy Haas, John McEnroe, Chris Evert and many others.
Together with IMG, Chris, John and their father Jimmy established
the Evert Tennis Academy in 1996 in Boca Raton, Florida. The Evert Tennis
Academy quickly became, and continues to be, the home to countless national
and international junior champions and some of the worlds finest pros.
The Evert Tennis Academy's mission is to pass
on to future champions the same knowledge, passion and competitive spirit
that drove Chris Evert to win 157 singles titles, 18 grand slams and
to reign for 7 years as the # 1 player in the world.
By combining the experience of a champion with world-class
coaching, cutting-edge training methods and premier facilities the Evert
Tennis Academy is able to offer unrivaled programs for players of all ages
and abilities.

Where Champions are Made
The Evert Tennis Academy is proud to offer the utmost modern
facilities equipped to provide intensive and thorough tennis training in
a convenient, accommodating, professional environment. Our amenities at ETA
include:
World-Class Playing Surfaces
The Evert Tennis Academy campus contains 23 courts, which
offer three types of playing surfaces -- 9 hard courts, 12 har-tru and 2
red clay courts. Also, ETA students have an additional 15 courts accessible
at a nearby private club. At match time, our players are ready to react no
matter what surface or conditions are presented.
Expert Training Programs
In addition to our superb on and off court training programs
for all ages and abilities, ETAs renowned coaching staff possesses
every tool necessary to develop all facets of each players game. On
court activities regularly include fed ball drilling, live ball situation
training, match play, foot work drills, and pre-point routines.
Pro Shop and Clubhouse
ETAs Pro Shop, located in our Clubhouse, carries name
brand sports apparel, athletic shoes, equipment and ETA logo souvenirs. Our
clubhouse also encompasses coach and administrative offices, a videoconference
room for players and coaches to review and analyze practice and match films,
a student lounge, a game room and an academic virtual classroom, complete
with T-1 high-speed internet access. ETAs Mental Conditioning Coach
also utilizes the virtual classroom and conference room in order to highlight
the finer points of mental conditioning.
Fitness Center
The Fitness Center is conveniently located on the ground
floor of ETAs dormitory. The Fitness Center provides a superb physical
training environment, complete with custom-built free weights, plate loaded,
and energy system equipment, Life Fitness and state-of-the-art resistance
machines, medicine balls, physioballs and much more. ETA is proud to offer
our athletes all the quality tools necessary for strength training and comprehensive
physical and aerobic conditioning, in addition to professionally trained
and certified physical trainers and coaches.
Dormitory (students age 18 and younger)
For ETA athletes enrolled in a full-time or weekly program,
Evert Tennis Academy in beautiful BocaRaton, Florida, has an (optional) on-campus
three-story dormitory to call home. Each dorm room houses two students during
the academic year and up to four students during some holiday sessions and
summer. Boys reside on the third floor-- girls, on the second floor. All
rooms are individually air-conditioned and equipped with cable hook-ups,
high speed Internet access and telephone lines with voice mail capabilities.
Long distance calls may be made by calling card. Each floor has securitycameras
and counselor rooms. On the first floor of the dormitory there is a dining
hall, lounge, laundry room, fitness center and a student common area. Bathrooms
and common areas are professionally cleaned weekly, and students are required
to maintain a specified level of daily upkeep. The Student Services staff
regularly inspects rooms, bathrooms and common areas to insure appropriate
living conditions.
Boarding students eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner
in our dining hall. To satisfy appetites from varied backgrounds and cultures,
ETA provides an ample range of cuisine and multiple nutritional selections
for each meal.
Extended Campus Facilities
The Evert Tennis Academy is nestled in the beautiful and
security-conscious Mission Bay residential neighborhood, surrounded by lakes,
manicured lawns, and lush Floridian foliage. Our convenient location, across
the street from SEK Boca Raton Preparatory School and the Mission Bay Clubhouse,
provides ETA students and staff an expanded variety of additional training
and recreational amenities, including a soccer field, outdoor basketball
courts, gymnasium, track, 25-meter lap pool, a recreational pool, hot tub,
and additional workout and aerobic rooms.
Surrounding Area
The Evert Tennis Academy is located in beautiful Boca Raton,
Florida, one of the most sought-after cities in America. Situated between
Miami and Palm Beach, about 20 minutes north of Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton
is known as a resort community with vast amenities for residents and tourists,
alike.
