The Desert Tennis Academy
The Desert Tennis Academy offers a variety of daily
clinics and lessons programs. In addition, special packages including lessons
or clinics and lodging accommodations are available.
The Desert Tennis Academy is designed for adults of all ages
and skill levels, and offers comprehensive instruction by our USPTA certified
professional staff. Clinics utilize the latest in teaching technology in
an atmosphere of positive reinforcement making learning fun.
3 HOUR CLINIC ~ 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ~ Daily
For those who are serious about improving fundamentals of
their game. Clinics start with video analysis of strokes, followed by footwork
and balance drills, shot selection, court positioning and finish with singles
and doubles strategy.
2 HOUR CLINIC ~ 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. ~ Daily
Great for individuals and teams looking for that competitive
edge. Through personal instruction, we focus on formations and positioning,
shot selection and mental toughness.
5 HOUR CLINIC ~ Daily
This clinic combines the morning 3 hour clinic with a rigorous
2 hour afternoon singles strategy and play.

led by Director of Tennis, Michael McFarlane and Head Professionals Jim Wilson
